mmm mmm good

hello all…I am pacifing my need to talk about myself, call it self-absorbed therapy. maybe you will be entertained by entering my crazy world, maybe you will say “yeah, so what” either way, that is perfectly understandable and perfectly okay, just know that you are welcome! I am a wife of a writer which puts me in the middle of a very interesting life right there and I am also the mom of four monsters…now that may sound rude to you, but let me explain….they are not always the scary type that you may initially think about sometimes they are the cute kind with the sweet bug eyes, endearing and not so sure what to do with their monster selves. Like today, monster #3 broke a vase at a store…she cried real monster tears and then asked for forgiveness and a pack of gum. After she apologized to the nice lady in the store, I bought this one a pack of gum and she skipped out. Now, when I got home monster #2 was being a REAL monster, the kind that needs to be contained for a bit. He was driving his daddy crazy. Anyway, our lives are funny and crazy, mostly happy and tiring. We deal with things like politics, music, alopecia, adoption, food allergies, baseball, gymnastics, grades, etc. It will be fun and therapeutic writing. hope you enjoy, back to the header…mmm mmm good….as I write I am carefully observing monster #4 who is 2 years old and suffers from severe food allergies…a bit ago she walked upstairs rubbing her belly saying “mmm mmm good” my heart jumped because she has a limited amount of things she can eat none of which at the moment cause her to say such a thing…come to find out, monster 3 had fed her a bowl of chicken noodle soup, loaded with arsenic for this particular monster…that arsenic by the name “EGGS” uuugh. so here I sit praying that she is okay, that she doesn’t need emergency medication or a trip to the ER, so far so good, she is playing with one of my purses that is full of her toy animals…no breathing issue, no break out…so far. so I sit and watch listening to the thunder, thinking of the maker of both the monsters and the thunder, praying for safety…welcome to my world
